Service Guideline

1. Cronous Service Guideline

1.1 This guideline serves as basic and general rules in providing service that Game Masters (GM) has thorough knowledge of and strictly follows. All forms of service shall be fairly provided to users following these rules and regulations.

1.2 Cronous Service Team has right and authority to modify rule and regulations in this document and such modification shall be notified on Cronous website (www.cronous.com). User shall pay visit to the Cronous website regularly and confirm any amendment hereto and/or any public notice given by the Company from time to time. Users shall be responsible for recognizing the public notice mentioned and the Company shall not be liable to Users for the loss or damages suffered by Users, if any, that may arise out of Users¡¯ failure to read or recognize such public notice. Purpose of this Guideline is to resolve problems in game and user complaints quickly and consistently. Therefore, Guideline must be followed.

1.3 Guideline is composed of best possible resolutions to settle problems that may arose in providing the service. Therefore, if better resolutions that can help maintain overall balance of the game is found, Guideline may be modified accordingly.

1.4 If any problem arose that is not mentioned here within, GM shall have full discretion in resolving the problem.

1.5 Terms of Use shall precede over any conflicting rules and regulations.

2. User¡¯s Obligation and Right

User shall not violate any rules and regulations stated below:

2.1 Non-game related trades are not allowed. User may be permanently banned if found in violation of below.
 - Act of selling and buying the Account, Character, or Item, or any other game related property with real-life cash
 - Act of creating account with a name that indicates the intent to sell or buy the Account, Character, or Item, or any
   other game related property with real-life cash.
 - Act of advertisement or sales promotion for a website buy & selling game items with real-life cash or product of other    company in the Service or website
 - Act of creating account with telephone number or specific area name showing that indicates the intent to sell or buy    the Account, Character, or Item, or any other game related property with real-life cash.

2.2 User shall promptly report game bug or any other problems found to GM and shall not pass the information to another user or abuse thereof.

2.3 User may submit bug report or any suggestions through Cronous website.

2.4 User may request GM for consultation or assistance game related matters.

3. Consultation Request

Consultation may be made through Website, Telephone, Fax or in the game directly to GM. However, GM may require user to submit it through different method or additional information if deemed necessary.

3.1 Website
 1) All consultation through website is done 1:1.
 2) Submission may be made at Cronous website [Support] - [1:1 Questions] menu.
 3) Reply on the submitted consultation shall be available at [Account] - [My Account] menu of the Cronous website.

3.2 Hacking Report/Inquiry, Bug Report
 1) All consultation through website is done 1:1.
 2) Submission may be made at Cronous website [Support] - [Bug Report], [Account] - [My Account], or through e-mail.

3.3 In-game Consultation
 1) All consultation through website is done 1:1.
 2) Consultation shall be done anytime of the day once GM has connected to the game.
 3) GM may provide a reply on the site or by telephone, free board or e-mail.
 4) All consultation shall be processed in 3 working days. User shall be informed of any delay.

4. Character Name

4.1 User shall not use any of the following at the time of selecting the Account, Character name, or guild name, etc.
 - Content misrepresenting an ID of an official operator of the Service recognized by the Company
 - Content damaging public morals
 - Content which is antisocial and in conflict with the related laws and regulations
 - Content having a possibility of violation of any third party¡¯s trademark and copyright
 - Content deemed as a vulgar word or slang
 - Content which is not distinguished from other member¡¯s Account, Character name, or guild name
 - Content having a potential to abuse a particular group or individual or infringe human rights
 - Content which that indicates the intent to sell or buy the Account, Character, or Item, or any other game
   related property with cash.
 - Content having advertisement or sales promotion for product of other company in the Service or website

4.2 Character Name Modification
GM shall advise to advise to change any improper name sending out first warning. If User does not change the name after receiving first warning, the name shall be modified or permanently banned on GM¡¯s discretion without any prior notice.

5. Game Play

5.1 Item Drop
By dropping an item, User is assumed to have waived of ownership on it. However, picking up such item by another User does not imply transfer of ownership including improperly acquired items.
 - Exception: Refer to 8.0 Recovery of the Guideline.

5.2 Item Transfer to NPC or another User
Act of normal item transfers made to NPC or another User implies transfer of ownership.
 - Exception: Refer to 8.0 Recovery of the Guideline.

5.3 Item Scam
Item scam is assumed to be fault of the User. However, GM may process properly submitted report on scamming on his/her discretion. Procedure on resolving scamming report is same as account appropriation (Refer to 7.1 Account Appropriation) and procedure on recovery of items involved shall follow recovery procedure (Refer to 8.0 Recovery.)
 1) Impersonation/misrepresentation shall be processed or recovered only if supported by clear facts/evidence
  (game logs and other related records.)
 2) Scamming through Trading shall be process or recovered only if supported by clear facts/evidence
  (Logs on before and after the trade and chatting log).
 3) Any scamming done on real-life cash transaction shall not be compensated in any case as it is prohibited.

5.4 Irregular Game Play
 1) Abusing game bug
 Bug should be reported promptly if found. If User abuses bug to increase character level or any other actions shall be deemed irregular game play and sanction shall be imposed without any prior notice. Any abuse of game bug resulting to severe damage and endanger continuance of the service may be submitted to competent court under the Criminal Procedure.

 4) Act of destroying order in the game shall be implied as intent to destroy game environment of one or more Users. User found in such act shall be permanently banned without any prior notice.
 Ex.) Act of deliberately blocking NPC from other User.
 Act of deliberately blocking other User from entering doors or passages.

5.5 Vulgarity
Cronous expects Users to be courteous to each other. Use of vulgar, abusive language or explicit sexual description shall be prohibited and sanctioned accordingly. You may report these at croNous website [Support] - [1:1 Question] together with facts to support it (Server, Character Name, Screenshot, etc.). Submitted reports with full supporting facts will be processed within 5 working days.

5.6 Blocked Accounts
1) While User account is being blocked as sanction, items with expiration date/time continues to count down.
As it is sanction imposed in violation of rules and regulations, croNous shall not be held responsible for any damages thereof as stated in the Term of Use.
2) If User is found in no violation of rules and regulation after investigation, expiration date/time of above mentioned item shall be extended equivalent to time the account has been blocked. (Excluding free items and hacking related cases)

6. Providing Service

Service refers to customer and game support provided to ensure smooth game play and process any complaints or to resolve any inconvenience.

6.1 Receiving Consultation
Customer Support Policy shall be followed for fast and quick processing of User consultation.

6.2 Summoning Character
 1) To ensure smooth game play, GM may summon character of a User in following cases.
 - To investigate on hacking and/or other incidents.
 - To conduct a survey.
 - Deemed necessary as part of an on-going event.
 - Any instant deemed necessary on GM¡¯s discretion.

 2) Summoning Process
 - Inform User that GM will summon him/her through Whisper.
 - GM shall personally discuss with User regarding matter on hand.
 - After the discussion, GM shall return User to place where he/she was summoned from or another location desired by User if possible.

6.3 On-going Event
GM shall notify Users regarding on-going event/s to provide pleasant gaming environment.

6.4 Processing Reports
 - GM shall exert his/her best effort process game or website related 1:1 Question or any User submitted reports.

6.5 Account, Character, Item Recovery
GM shall follow Recovery Policy in restoring any account, character or item.

6.6 Dispute between Users
GM shall restrain from intervening in dispute between Users. Disputes shall be resolved by Users as it can be done through civility and self-regulation. Users are the ones forming community in the game. However, GM may intervene and mediate a dispute if deemed necessary. Following are list of cases that GM may intervene and mediate:
 1) Destroying other Users gaming environment.
 2) Criticizing another User or spreading rumors.
 3) Expressing an abusive language or explicit sexual description.
 4) Reporting to GM under false pretense to gain profit.
 5) Obstructing GM¡¯s conduct / game operation
 - Spamming and Trolling
 - Posting defamatory content.
 - Posting excessive contents at once.
 - Posting duplicate contents repeatedly.
 - Disregarding GM¡¯s warning.
 6) Distribution of false information on specific individual and/or company with ill intention.
 7) Creating an account using false information.
 8) Real-life cash transaction related
 9) Exchanging of accounts.
 10) Deliberately blocking other User from entering doors or passages.
 11) Deliberately interfering with game operation/service.
 12) Illegally appropriating other User¡¯s account.
 13) Abusing game bug.
 14) Racial, ethnic or religious discrimination.
 15) Distribution of illegal modification of program and/or cheats, hacks or malicious programs.

6.7 GM shall;
 1) Not ask User password.
 2) Not leak User information to a third person/company.
 3) Not modify User information without any prior notice.
 4) Not ask real-life cash or goods from a User.
 5) Always stay neutral and not bias or prejudicial to specific User/s.

7. Processing of Reports

7.1 General Rule
 1) Report shall be submitted with complete information, according to five W's and one H, to be processed.
    Date and time incident and last game connection before the incident shall also be included in the report.
 2) Report shall be submitted within 5 days from the time of actual incident. Any report submitted after said
    period shall be received but not guaranteed to process. User shall be notified if submitted
    report cannot be processed.
 3) Report on same incident shall be submitted only once. If two or more reports are submitted on the same incident,
    all shall be nullified.
 4) No report shall be processed if User shared account information to a third person.
 5) Account of User who submitted the report and all other accounts related to the incident may be seized in the
    process of investigation.
 6) User shall submit report only on his/her behalf.
 7) User shall be notified of prolonged investigation and its reason.

7.2 Exemption to General rule
 1) Scam
 - Submission of evidence (screenshot) is required in addition and if evidence if found insufficient,
   report shall not be processed.
 2) Vulgarity
 - Report on use of vulgar, slang abusive language or explicit sexual description shall be submitted through
   croNous website (refer to 5.5 Vulgarity) or directly to GM residing in the game.
   Submission of evidence (screenshot) is required in addition and if evidence if found insufficient,
   report shall not be processed.
 3) Bug
 - Bug Report shall be submitted through [Support] [1:1 Question] menu of the croNous website.

7.3 Result
 1) Final result on report submitted may be verified at [Account] [My Account] menu of the croNous website.
 2) All accounts of a User found of hacking and/or scamming shall be banned permanently.

8. Recovery

8.1 Item Recovery
 1) Not all hacked items are recovered.
 2) Hacked item normally traded to a third User without any knowledge that it is hacked item shall be recovered
    with item received in return as compensation during the trade.
 3) Items sold at general potion or weapon store shall not be recovered.
 4) Character deletion is fault of User. However, character deleted due to account hacking/appropriation shall be
    processed and recovered under GM¡¯s discretion.
 5) Scammed items shall be recovered only if conclusive evidence and data/record still exists.
 6) Item shall not be recovered if User shared account information to a third person.
 7) Company shall not be liable and/or held responsible for damages on real-life cash transactions.
